Deal or no Deal – Another Chocolate Mess

What a grand mess this is. We thought that we have seen the worst of these chocolate deals. Now I am not saying that chocolate is bad or gross, but the way these Groupon deals and salons incorporate chocolate gives me nightmares! Check out this deal below:

Let’s evaluate: Last time we wrote about an epic deal fail regarding chocolate and massages, we were blown away. This deal however takes the (chocolate) cake! First of all, the deal points out that there is a ‘24k gold leaf solution’ that is incorporated to the chocolate mix.  How is this supposed to ‘lift and rejuvenate’. If people wanted gold on their head, wouldn’t they be in the form of gold earrings? Another part of this deal is a chocolate scrub for your feet. That doesn’t seem like a good experience, and the aroma wouldn’t be pleasant. You might as well just put your feet in the mud for free! One of the saving graces for this deal is that once you are at the salon, you will be served a complimentary chocolate martini. I always love a good cocktail!

Overall, this has been stamped a chocolate deal FAIL! Get the hint Groupon! These deals don’t sell very well, the descriptions are scary, and most importantly, leave chocolate alone! We love daily deals, but think about how much quality chocolate you can get for $125 and even cover shipping?! Our friends at Lindt Chocolates can help us with that. Or maybe there’s even a chocolate deal or two on Lifesta available!
