Lifesta is a marketplace for people to buy and sell deals from daily deal sites such as Groupon, Living Social, BuyWithMe and 60-70 others (and counting).
Daily deals sites provide a great, affordable way to discover what a city has to offer by selling heavily discounted deals (often 50% and up) for products and services in the area – but they’re not perfect. Remember that deal you hesitated to buy because you weren’t sure you’d use it once the initial glow fades, and then kicked yourself for not getting? How about the deal you missed by a couple of minutes because your mom called? Find those deals here!
Know that deal you bought for your New York visit, but then found out the restaurant is closed for a week because of a fire? (Yes – we know the person this happened to. You can’t make this stuff up.) Or how about that deal for organic green-tea hair removal, that for the life of you you can’t figure why you got? Well on this site is someone whose mom called that day and is now looking feverishly for this very deal! Sell it on Lifesta.
We’ve been keeping tabs on these daily deals and found that some of them are simply hilarious and must be shared. For this reason and to capture what’s going on with us, we started this blog.
